Our software applications are specialized to target package design, palletization, cargo load planning and optimization. TOPS’ total commitment to its customers has earned a customer base of over 5,500 TOPS Pro installations and over 3,500 MaxLoad Pro installations. The company continues to incorporate new features to all products to customize them with industry needs, and our diverse customer base spans all segments of the manufacturing, transportation and shipping industries.

When we founded TOPS in 1990, a lot of thought went into what to call ourselves. We wanted a name that was not only simple but to the point. Our overall goal was to create computer software that would totally optimize packaging and distribution needs. TOPS, an acronym for Total Optimization Packaging Software, seemed perfect. Through a cohesive team effort, we continue to reach that goal. The TOPS line of software is the most advanced tool available for packaging and distribution optimization.
